Description:
As e.near’s Cost Management Analyst, you will be:
• Part of an inspiring highly motivated Group Cost Management team
• Support the annual budgeting process for our client, executed at both senior and mid-tier management level (top-down and bottom-up process)
• Preparation of monthly reporting - budget versus actual reporting including variance analysis
• Lead and coordinate pre-approval process by providing budget numbers and invoice approval for all group expenses (budget and invoice approvals).
• Overall responsibility for operational tasks related to cost management and budget approval
• Subject matter expert for group-wide policy compliance of business expense
• Overall ownership and maintenance of various MIS systems used in the reporting and approval workflow.
• Support headcount reporting and ad-hoc tasks related to personnel expense management and reporting
• Contribute to the revenue and profitability measurement of sales teams
• Coordination of external spending approval workflow
• Preparation of ad hoc cost analysis to senior management
• Preparation of various management reports to Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders
• Support preparation of the annual and half-year external reports
• Support internal projects within the finance department
Required Skills:
• Academic degree (Bachelor or Master) in Finance with focus on accounting
• Good accounting knowledge and interest in further development in finance area
• Hands-on team player willing to integrate in a young, dynamic, and open team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Honest, reliable, trustworthy, dedicated, and passionate about her/his work
• Diligent and detail-oriented working style and motivated to establish oneself in a challenging environment
• Able to work under pressure, independently and meet tight deadlines
• Exceptionally good knowledge of MS-Office (excel, PowerPoint, outlook)
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English
